NEWBERRY TWP., Miami County — A driver pulled a gun out and pointed it at another motorist Thanksgiving night during an apparent road rage incident near Troy.
“There was another car, he almost hit me and I just honked lightly just to let him know I was right there,” a 911 caller told dispatchers. “He pulled a gun out on me ... he pointed it at me and held it up in the air.”

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Fetters Road and West Ohio 185.
A black Dodge Avenger and a gold PT Cruiser around 8:30 p.m. were reportedly “both driving recklessly and messing with other cars,” the 911 caller said.
“I’ve been watching them play these stupid games. I have kept my distance, watching them almost hit other cars head-on,” a second 911 caller told dispatchers.
Additional details surrounding the incident were not immediately available.
