ENGLEWOOD — Englewood police responded to calls of an aggravated robbery at a Verizon store on South Main Street on Friday evening.
A release from the Englewood Police Department indicates that at two male suspects with covered faces entered the store carrying handguns and ordered the employee to empty the store’s safe of products and cash.
The robbery was reported around 7:45 p.m.
The suspects exited the store and fled in a waiting vehicle, driven by the third suspect.
On Saturday, Nov. 9., the Englewood Police Department was contacted by the Dayton Police Department after reports of several subjects were attempting to sell a large quantity of new cell phones in the 1200 block of Wayne Avenue.
The subjects were detained by Dayton Police and Englewood detectives have been involved in the investigation since the detention.
Demetrius Dellvon Bell, Demond Harris and Lamonte Hancock were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, receiving stolen property, carrying a concealed weapon, having weapons under disability and improper handling of weapons in a moving vehicle.
Hancock has additional charges of obstructing official business.
All three are booked in Montgomery County Jail.
