Man wearing all red, driving gold car tries to rob Dayton gas station

DAYTON — Our crew reported that one person has been arrested after a reported attempted robbery at the Speedway at 5000 North Main Street in Dayton.

Dispatch records said that the suspect was wearing an all-red outfit when they attempted to rob the gas station.

Initial reports said that the suspect attacked a clerk,and drove a gold car that was left sitting at the gas pump.

Our crew confirmed that the car was still there.

Photos from the scene showed that several police units responded to the location, and reports said that a medic was requested for injuries due to the assault.
