This shooting victim is listed in good condition at Miami Valley Hospital. The 36-year-old man was shot in the leg, according to Dayton police spokeswoman.
A vehicle was also damaged in this shooting. No suspect information has been released.

A woman who said she’s the mother of the shooting victim was hysterical as she described the incident to the 911 dispatcher. She and her 36-year-old son were in her car and all of the sudden she heard several gunshots, the woman said. Her windshield shattered and her son said he’d been shot in the leg, the woman told the dispatcher, noting she had not been shot.
The caller said she didn’t see who shot at her car.

Dayton VA Hospital police have put up crime scene tape around a black Dodge Ram truck that was driven to the hospital’s parking lot after a passenger was shot.
Dayton police are searching nearby in the 3900 block of West Third Street for the location where the shooting occurred.
