The man accused of fatally shooting a 29-year-old father last year was found guilty in court today.
Brandon Dion Moxley, 25, was accused of killing Rodney Frost on June 19, 2013 outside Frost’s apartment on Valerie Arms Drive.
Police arrested him July 3, 2013 as he allegedly attempted to flee the state. He was located at a Greyhound bus terminal in Cincinnati with a bus ticket to Atlanta, Ga.
Moxley was on trial in September 2014 but a mistrial was declared. Today in court, Moxley plead no-contest to involuntary manslaughter and a three-year firearm specification, according to the Montgomery County prosecutor’s office. In a release, Prosecutor Mat Heck said Moxley will be sentenced on December 18 and receive a nine-year prison sentence.
