DAYTON — A 26-year-old man has been indicted on murder among other charges in the shooting death earlier this month of a man on Adelite Avenue.
Marcus Brigham Jr. was indicted for murder, felonious assault, aggravated robbery and heaving weapons while under disability, according to Montgomery County court records.
All the charges have a three-year firearm specification except for having weapons while under disability.
Diamond Carlton of North Baltimore, Ohio, was shot multiple times Feb. 4 during an attempted drug transaction, according Dayton police.
Shortly after Carlton walked with Brigham to an alley his friends reported hearing gunfire. Carlton’s friends fled the area, but returned shortly after and found Carlton’s body, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Brigham is being held on a $1 million bond and is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 21.
