Police found nearly 70 hypodermic needles and suspected heroin after responding to Good Samaritan Hospital around 10 p.m. Friday
Officers arrested Adam Hamilton, 24, after they said he was driving the vehicle where the needles were found, according to a Dayton police report.
Hamilton was inside the vehicle when officers responded to the hospital after the 24-year-old brought a man, believed to have overdosed on heroin, into the emergency room.
Investigators patted down Hamilton and found five capsules of suspected heroin in his right pocket.
During a search of the vehicle Hamilton was driving, police located a box containing 69 needles in the trunk, the report said.
Hamilton was taken into custody and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of possession of drugs and drug abuse instruments.
