One man has been arrested following a high-speed pursuit that ended in Vandalia early Saturday morning.
State troopers said the vehicle was first stopped around 4 a.m. Frederick Pike before fleeing from the trooper during the stop.
Troopers began a high-speed pursuit where speeds reached 110 mph. After a few minutes, the driver stopped the car near the intersection of North Dixie Drive and Benchwood Road and attempted to run away on foot.
Troopers said the man surrendered a short distance later and was taken into custody.
The man is facing several charges including OVI and fleeing and eluding, according to troopers.
No injuries were reported.
