A suspect armed with a silver handgun Wednesday evening robbed a Dollar General store in Dayton.
The robbery happened just before 5 p.m. at the store, 888 S. Gettysburg Ave.
The gunman was wearing a hoodie and wave cap when he walked up to the register and said, “put everything in the bag,” according to a police incident report.
The suspect took $286.72 in a yellow plastic bag before fleeing from the store.
Police used a K-9 to track the suspect, but didn’t get any further than the parking lot, the report stated.
There are no suspects or arrests at this time.
