Dayton police ask for public’s help after 2 on motorcycle seriously hurt in hit-and-run crash

DAYTON — Two people riding a motorcycle were seriously injured early Thursday in a hit-and-run crash, and now Dayton police are asking for the public’s help to find the driver of a car that fled.

The crash between a motorcycle and car was reported shortly before 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of West Hillcrest Avenue and Philadelphia Drive.

Two people on the motorcycle, a man and woman, were seriously injured, police said.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black four-door car, possibly a Toyota Camry or similar vehicle. The car should have significant front-end damage, police said.
