Cold Case: Answers still needed for security guard killed in 2014

Montgomery County Sheriff Rob Streck is asking for help from the public to submit information and tips about this month’s cold case.

Adrian Days was shot on July 5, 2014, while working as a security guard at the Old Red Barn, 700 Shiloh Springs in Harrison Twp.

A private party was held at the Old Red Barn where a local rapper had put on a show for the Fourth of July.

When a large fight broke out, patrons started leaving and an unknown person started firing at security guards who broke up the fight and closed the party.

Security guards returned fire, but Days was struck and transported to a local hospital but didn’t survive his injuries.

To this date, investigating detectives have little information about this incident.

Each cold case is release on the first Thursday of each month on the Facebook page.
