Girl subject of Cincinnati-area Amber Alert found

HAMILTON COUNTY — UPDATE @ 1:13 p.m. (July 6):

A 6-year-old girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert issued Thursday has been found and is in good condition, sheriff’s deputies told our partners at WCPO-TV.

The girl’s mother Ashley Hardy is in custody and turned herself in to authorites, WCPO reported.

INITIAL REPORT:

A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a 6-year-old Hamilton County girl.

Malayah Sisco was last seen with 26-year-old Ashley Davona Hardy.

Sisco is 3 feet tall, weighs 40 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray, sleeveless shirt with red and blue designs on the front, a gray skirt, brown shoes and her hair in braids with red and blue beads.

Hardy is 5 feet, 4 inches, weighs 105 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

They may be in a 2012 white Chevrolet Traverse with Ohio plate number HBU1106.

Call 911 if you see the child, the suspect or the vehicle. You can also call 1-877-AMBER-OH (1-877-262-3764) or 911 to be transferred directly to the investigating law enforcement agency or to hear the alert information.
