COVID-19 testing in Xenia and Dayton being processed as quickly as possible

Officials with Five Rivers Health Center announced Monday that thanks to the overwhelming response from the community, 2,200 COVID free tests were administered last week at the Five Rivers Health Centers pop-up test sites in Xenia and Dayton.

The local lab doing the COVID-19 testing is currently running thousands of tests, as quickly as possible, as the two Five Rivers events weren’t the only ones in this area last week.

The test results are taking longer than we anticipated.

Five Rivers health said they are working diligently with their partners at the lab to get all results as quickly as possible and we will contact the patients who tested positive, first.

Those waiting for test results can call the numbers below for updates:

* Greene County 937-708-3403

* Montgomery County 937-681-2091

Five Rivers Health Centers, the host for the events at its Greene County Health Center and Samaritan Health Center, also thanks all event partners, including Governor DeWine’s COVID-19 Minority Health Strike Force, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio National Guard.
