Coronavirus: Over 1,400 tests administered at Montgomery County Fairgrounds pop-up site

JEFFERSON TWP. — The Ohio Department of Health operated a pop-up COVID-19 test site at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds today.

Dayton & Montgomery County Public Health reported that 1,478 tests were performed at the location.

All of the tests are still pending and no results have come in yet.

The testing site was open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Jefferson Twp., 645 Infirmary Road.

All tests were free, no appointment was needed, and a referral or doctor’s note requesting a test was also not needed.

The Ohio Department of Health said other free pop-up testing sites in the region will be announced at a later date.
