TIPP CITY, Ohio — Working closely with the Miami County Health Department, organizers are working to put on a prom for juniors and seniors from any school district in Tipp City at an open-air venue.

The event is scheduled for Friday, July 31 at the Cedar Springs Pavilion on South County Road 25A in Tipp City. Tickets for the event are $25 a person (photo will be an extra $15).

Lisa Brannon, owner of Cedar Springs Pavilion said, “”I am able to space my tables 6 feet apart and I can still accommodate 250 people which is nice because I know a lot of venues that are unable to offer that.”

Juniors and seniors from any school district are invited for a formal evening of celebration.

Organizers said a professional DJ will provide the music and a professional photographer will also be on hand for purchasing a photo to commemorate the special evening.

Prom organizer Jodie Adamson said, “”We didn’t want them to be left with a negative, depressing, sad experience. We wanted to sort of take lemons and make lemonade out of it.”

Snacks, dessert and drinks will be provided. And, the evening will end with a couple of great door prizes. For more information, contact Jodie at 937-726-1096.

At this time, students from Troy Christian, Anna, and Brookville schools have all signed up for participate in the prom.
