All lanes are open after injury crash on I-75 in Miami County

UPDATE: Sept. 15 @ 12:50 a.m.:

All lanes are now open on I-75 after the injury crash south of Tipp City, according to Piqua Ohio Highway Patrol. Three people were taken to area hospitals from the scene of the accident, there conditions are currently unknown.

We will update this story as we learn more.

UPDATE @ 11:45 p.m.:

A driver is currently trapped in the injury accident on I-75 south of Tipp City near mile marker 66, according to Piqua Ohio Highway Patrol.

One person was taken to Miami Valley Hospital and another was taken to Grandview Medical Center.

All southbound lanes are still closed on I-75, according to dispatch.

INITIAL REPORT:

An injury accident just south of Tipp City has left all southbound lanes closed on Interstate 75 near mile marker 66, according to Piqua Ohio Highway Patrol.

Vandalia and Tipp City medics have been requested and one person has been taken to Miami Valley Hospital, said police.

It is unclear at this time how many vehicles are involved.
