Victim of Trotwood homicide identified, 2 suspects arrested following police chase

The identity of the victim killed in the Trotwood homicide has been identified.

David Bentley Robinson, 41, of Trotwood, was reported dead around 10 a.m. on March 28.

Police arrested two homicide investigation suspects after a high speed pursuit ended the Cincinnati area.

William J Denny II, was driving the vehicle involved in a chase when Miamisburg Police spotted the 2001 Mercury GMQ as the vehicle believed to be driven by two Trotwood homicide suspects.

Denny was arrested for failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer.

The passenger of the vehicle was Dustin A Hatfield Sr, who was arrested for tampering with evidence in addition to failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer.

The initial report from police stated that suspects were seen throwing items out of the vehicle during the pursuit.

Hatfield was previously convicted of reckless homicide in the shooting death of his girlfriend, Lori Estepp, on West Mulberry Street in Springfield in 2011.
