One dead, two critically injured after head-on crash in Butler County

UPDATE @ 10:50 a.m.:

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office reported that one person is dead and two were transported by medical helicopter after a crash in Lemon Twp. Saturday night.

WCPO reported that those transported by helicopter were in critical condition.

Primary investigations revealed that one vehicle went left of center, striking the other.

The crash is under investigation by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

UPDATE @ 1 a.m. (Jan. 19):

One person is dead and two others are in critical condition after a Saturday afternoon crash in the 100 block of Oxford State Road in Middletown, according to our news partner WCPO in Cincinnati.

WCPO reported that the two critically injured people were flown via Aircare medical helicopters to nearby hospitals.

They also reported authorities on the scene believed the crash was head-on and that five people were involved, but police have not released the identity of any of the people and the investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE @ 8:50 p.m. (Jan. 18):

Investigators are still at the scene of a three-vehicle crash that was reported over two hours ago on Oxford State Road.

Information on injuries is still unavailable.

Dispatchers say the tow companies did come and pick up the vehicles.

We are working to learn more and will update as we receive new information.

A three-vehicle crash has been reported in the 100 block of Oxford State Road, according to dispatch.

An emergency helicopter is on scene and multiple injuries have been reported.
