At around 11:20 a.m., an attempted break-in was reported for the Sprint store on West Dorothy Lane in Kettering, followed by one at the Boost Mobile store in the 5600 block of Springboro Pike.

Police said bricks were thrown through the front door of the Sprint.

Our crew reported that the door to the Springboro Pike Boost Mobile was damaged but didn’t appear to have been broken through.

It appears that the suspects at both stores tried to make entry, but were unsuccessful and fled.

Initial reports indicate four people are involved.

Both of these phone stores have been the victim of break-ins before. In May 2018, we reported on break-ins at both the Boost Mobile and the Sprint store, where suspects used rocks to smash the front door of both stores.
