“We’ve been overwhelmed by love”| Kate Bartley and husband Andy give big ‘thank you’ to our viewers

Former News Center 7 anchor Kate Bartley and husband Andy Howell wanted to share a special ‘thank you’ video with our viewers.

“We were so nervous to share our story so publicly, and we have been overwhelmed by the love and support you surrounded us with,” Kate says. “I knew that the viewers of WHIO were wonderful people, but you prove it again and again.”

The couple shared Andy's fight against brain cancer with the community, in a special story that aired last week.

Andy’s struggles played a large role in Kate’s decision to leave News Center 7 last year.

The couple’s ‘thank you’ video ends on a lighthearted note, with their son Charlie practicing his ABC’s-- still blundering on the letter ‘G,’ pronouncing it ‘booty.’
