IKEA announced today that it plans to open a new store in Columbus in summer 2017.
It would be located near the Polaris Mall, off Interstate 71.
The chain also has a location south of Dayton in West Chester Twp.
IKEA said construction in Columbus would create 500 jobs. And the store would employ 300 workers.
