Woman leads police on pursuit before rollover crashing on I-75 in Montgomery Co.

MORAINE — A woman crashed her vehicle on Interstate 75 after leading police on a chase from Warren to Montgomery County Saturday overnight.

Franklin and Moraine Police responded to the single-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 northbound just beyond Main Street in Moraine at around 1:35 a.m., Franklin Dispatch confirmed.

When officers arrived, they discovered that the vehicle rolled over during the crash, prompting firefighters and medics to respond, dispatch informed.

The vehicle crashed after the female driver failed to stop at a police-imposed traffic stop on Interstate 75 southbound at East 2nd Street at around 1:25 a.m.

After failing to stop, the woman led Franklin Police on a vehicle-chase for approximately 12 miles that lasted about 10 minutes before the rollover crash.

The crash left one subject injured, requiring a transport to Atrium Medical Center for further care, dispatch said.

Franklin Police led the investigation into the police pursuit and subsequent collision.
