Sinclair College shares safety reminders for motorists, pedestrians as classes start

DAYTON — Classes for Fall Term begin today and Sinclair College’s Department of Public Safety is reminding the public to keep safety a priority.

Since more in-person classes will be available this year, they expect an increased volume of vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the campus.

New electronic speed signs and flashing pedestrian crosswalk signs have been installed on Fourth and Fifth Streets.

The department would like to remind motorists that the speed limit through that area is 25 mph.

“The men and women of Sinclair’s Department of Public Safety are dedicated to maintaining a safe environment and we rely on the public to help us do that,” said Chief John Huber, Director – Sinclair College Department of Public Safety.
