RTA to operate Sunday schedule for Christmas, New Year holiday

The RTA will be operating on a Sunday bus schedule on Christmas and New Year’s, according to a release.

The buses will run their regular weekday, Monday service hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

RTA Connect Paratransit services will follow the same time frames on its weekend services through the holidays.

The RTA Customer Service Call Center will also operate on a Sunday schedule for both holidays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the release stated.

The “Winter Wonderland” bus, which features a Christmas tree inside along with holiday music and candy canes, will run on route 34 on Christmas Eve, route 7 on Christmas day, and route 11 on Dec. 26.
