Five-year-old Dylan and 7-year-old Carter’s father is a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force who says his sons’ favorite monster truck is Grave Digger.

“The Grave Digger is their iconic one that they associate it to monster trucks,” Matthew Donathan said.

The two now have a Monster Jam Grave Digger themed bedroom and they also got to meet the driver who is always behind the wheel.

“People say it takes a lot of courage and bravery to do my job. That’s not true. That takes so much more courage and bravery to do what they do. So, if they’re eligible, if their families are able to sacrifice so much, then I’m here to give back from my family to theirs,” Grave Digger driver Krysten Anderson said.

“This is an amazing once in a lifetime experience and for everybody to come together for my boys like this, it means everything to me” Donathan said.

Donation said his family was offered tickets to this weekend’s Monster Jam show at the Nutter Center, but they won’t be able to make it.
