COLUMBUS — An Ohio State assistant coach is reportedly returning to the NFL as an assistant coach.
Ohio State offensive coordinator Chip Kelly is reportedly back to the NFL to work for the Las Vegas Raiders, according to our news partner WBNS 10TV News.

ESPN and the Associated Press report that Ohio State offensive coordinator Chip Kelly is returning to the NFL to serve in that same position with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Our news partner WBNS TV said that the Buckeyes had Kelly for one season as offensive coordinator after he was the previous head coach at UCLA for six seasons.

Kelly has previous NFL head coaching experience.
He served as head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2013-15 and went 26-21. He was fired with one game left in the 2015 season.
Kelly also coached the 2016 season for the San Francisco 49ers.
He has 33 years of coaching experience with 29 years of coaching in the college setting, WBNS says.
The Raiders are revamping their coaching staff after a 4-13 season.
They have also hired former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and former Washington Commanders assistant special teams coach John Glenn as linebackers coach, WBNS says.
