Kettering fire station construction suffers setback

Mother Nature threw a set back to the construction of a new Kettering fire station.

Cinder blocks put up at the new station on Far Hills Avenue were knocked down yesterday because of strong winds.

The reconstruction of the wall will take an additional 2-3 weeks as long as the weather cooperates, according to Robert Baker, Assistant Director of Public Service for Kettering.

There will be no additional costs to the project officials said, because of insurance.
