Dayton to host ‘welcome event’ for area Ukrainians today

DAYTON — The City of Dayton will hold an event to help newly arrived Ukrainians feel welcome later today.

The “Ukrainian Welcome Event” will take place on from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Dayton Metro Library on East Third Street.

It will feature light refreshments and information about Dayton community resources.

This will be a networking event for newly arrived Ukrainians in the Dayton area according to a post on the City of Dayton’s Facebook.
