Dayton police release surveillance images from Fricker’s break-in

DAYTON — Dayton police have released surveillance images from a Fricker’s break-in and are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect.

The suspect broke into the Woodman Drive Fricker’s and stole more than $5,000 early Monday morning, according to a police report.

The suspect appeared to be a white male wearing white and gray camouflage pants, a dark jacket, hoodie, dark shoes and gloves.

Police noted that a window in the back of the restaurant was smashed, read the report.

A general manager let police into the office, where they discovered papers strewn around the room.

It was also noted that about $5,087 was missing from the safe, according to the report.

Security footage showed the suspect rummage through papers in the office and take money out of the safe, read the report.

The suspect then reportedly exited out of the rear window.
