KeyBank forgiving, giving temporary negative balance credit for stimulus check access

Stimulus checks are arriving through direct deposit for many, and KeyBank is forgiving negative balances of $50 and less, and giving a 30 day temporary credit so that clients may may immediately access their full stimulus payment.

Both clients and non-clients can cash their paper stimulus checks without fees at a branch by appointment or drive-thru.

Clients should bring a form of ID while non-clients should bring two.

The Paycheck Protection Program is currently on hold as the $8.5 billion in funds have been exhausted.

KeyBank is hopeful for the expansion of the program.
