Breaking and entering reported at Dayton restaurant

A breaking and entering occurred to a Dayton restaurant early Monday morning.

Crews were dispatched around 4:45 a.m. to Rally’s, 1111 S. Smithville Road, according to a police incident report.

The suspect(s) reportedly broke a lock to get in, damaged the drive-thru window, and broke into the safe.

It's unknown if any money was taken from the safe, but there is roughly $2,000 in damages, the report stated.

No arrests have been made in this incident.
