One person is dead and two others were injured after a shooting near the University of Cincinnati’s campus early Sunday morning.
The shooting took place around 12:57 a.m. on the 100 block of W. McMillan Street police said in a news release.
Three shooting victims were found at the scene outside the location. One of the victims was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, police said in the release.
The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Damarcus Payton.

The two other victims were taken to at UC Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.
