Dayton Police track down armed robbery suspect

DAYTON — UPDATE: @ 4:48 p.m.

Dayton Police have arrested one suspect in connection with an armed robbery at a Dayton Family Video. The suspect reportedly entered the family dollar and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. Crews were able to track down and arrest the suspect at a location on Malvern Aveune. The suspect is currently being held for aggravated robbery.

Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Family Video store on North Main Street in Dayton Thursday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched to the business in the 3600 block of North Main Street around 1:05 p.m. after receiving reports of an armed robbery.

A man reportedly entered the store and demanded cash before fleeing in a vehicle, according to dispatch records.

No injuries have been reported.
