Clear and chilly night ahead; gradual warm-up to end week

DETAILED FORECAST:

THIS EVENING & OVERNIGHT: Clear skies continue through the evening with a little bit of a breeze at times, according to News Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs. Temperatures will be falling back through the 40s. Late tonight, winds increase and that will keep our temperatures up compared to last night. Lows in the middle 30s with just a few clouds around.

THURSDAY: A chilly and breezy start with temperatures in the 30s. Sunshine with some high clouds moving in. Temperatures warm up nicely to around 60 degrees. Gusty winds at times into the afternoon, up to about 40 mph are possible. Still breezy into the night with lows in the middle 40s.

FRIDAY: Another mild day and still breezy. Temperatures rise to around 60 degrees. Slight chance of a passing sprinkle or shower into the afternoon, but most will remain dry.

SATURDAY: A mainly dry day expected for Saturday with more clouds around.  Highs in the upper 50s. Slight chance for a passing afternoon shower.

SUNDAY: A front will approach bringing rain showers into the Miami Valley late afternoon into the evening. Highs climb to around 60 degrees ahead of the front. Windy at times in the afternoon.

MONDAY: Chance of a lingering shower early then clouds decrease. A cooler day and breezy with highs in the upper 40s.
