DAYTON — One person was injured in a stabbing at a Dayton apartment complex on Tuesday morning.

The stabbing was reported in the 100 block of E. Helena Street shortly after 8 a.m., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

Police on the scene told News Center 7 that a man was injured in the stabbing. He was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
A man was taken into custody in connection with the stabbing.
Police added that the two knew each other.
