WARREN COUNTY — Two people are dead after a crash on a busy interstate in Warren County on Monday.

The crash happened on Interstate 71 North at mile marker 26 in Warren County before 1 p.m., according to a spokesperson with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

A preliminary investigation found that Micaela Pedicone, 28, of Lebanon, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu south when she crossed the median and entered the northbound lanes.
The spokesperson said Pedicone crashed head-on into an oncoming Honda Odyssey.
Darnell McKinney Jr., 49, of Cincinnati, was driving the Odyssey.
Both Pedicone and McKinney were the only occupants of their vehicles.
Both were pronounced dead on scene, the spokesperson said.
This crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol Lebanon Post.
