The Xenia Division of Police has since identified the driver of the Charger as Keyshawn Brown.
After the stop was initiated, Brown stopped at a red light, but then took off.
He went through the four-way stop at East Second and S Columbus Streets and crashed into a white Dodge Durango.
Brown also hit two parked cars.
The impact caused the Durange to hit and damage a utility pole and fire hydrant, according to Xenia police.
The passenger and the driver of the SUV were hospitalized, but they’re expected to be okay.
Xenia police found Brown at the crash site and took him into custody.
He’s being charged with one count of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and several misdemeanor traffic offenses.
“Brown also had two active warrants from other counties; however, these warrants were found to be out of the warrant’s pick up radius,” the police division said.
Neighbors told News Center 7 what they heard.
“I just heard them. It just sounded like a bunch of crashing, something crashing,” Nikki Watson said.
“I heard the boom first; we heard the boom. And then I ran down here like crazy, like, whoa, what was that? Cause we heard this, and then I guess this is where it happened,” Dan Farr said.
