Neighbors told News Center 7 what they heard.
“I just heard them. It just sounded like a bunch of crashing, something crashing,” Nikki Watson said.
“I heard the boom first; we heard the boom. And then I ran down here like crazy, like, whoa, what was that? Cause we heard this, and then I guess this is where it happened,” Dan Farr said.
Police arrested the driver, but his identity wasn’t immediately available.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said the passenger and the driver of the SUV were hospitalized, but they’re expected to be okay.
Watson said she is thankful it wasn’t any worse.
“That it could have been a kid out here that could have got hit. Okay. That’s what scared me. I thought a kid got hit,” she said.
This crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
