HARRISON TWP. — A Harrison Twp. home was destroyed in a fire on Wednesday morning.

The fire was reported on the 2000 block of Drill Avenue around 11:02 a.m., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

Harrison Twp. Fire Chief Mike Crist said when crews got to the scene, there was “significant fire throughout the home.”
One person in the home was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
An initial investigation revealed that the fire was “incendiary in nature,” according to Crist.
The initial estimate of damage revealed that the home is a total loss.
The fire remains under investigation.
