DAYTON — UPDATE @ 12:14 p.m.:
A driver was hospitalized after fleeing from a traffic stop and crashing early Monday morning in a Dayton neighborhood.

Around 12:23 a.m., a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a suspected stolen vehicle as it was turning on Kathleen Ave, from Wrampler Ave, but the vehicle failed to stop.

Shortly after the deputy terminated the traffic stop, the vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle, near the intersection of Kathleen Ave and Pointview Ave.
The suspect in the vehicle was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
