News Center 7’s Malik Patterson spoke with neighbors about the stray dogs and the problem that a task force hopes to address.
Moraine Police and Animal Resource Center personnel responded to the area of Dryden Road and the bike path near the Great Miami River on reports of at least seven loose dogs Sunday afternoon.

Moraine Police confirmed that more than one caller reported the pack of dogs running around and that multiple people reported being bitten by the dogs.
All seven dogs have been captured, and photos of them have been posted on the Animal Resource Center’s social media.
Desmond Euell grew up around dogs and is the owner of a new puppy. He said stray dogs get a bad reputation.
“Some people mistreat their dogs. I don’t believe that with them being loose and how they’ve been acting is their fault necessarily. It’s more survival instinct,” Euell said.
Euell said he felt bad for the people who were bit by the dogs and had advice for people who want to become dog owners.
“Actually research them. Know their behaviors. Spend that quality time with them. Don’t always cage them. Don’t always just let them be without you,” Euell said.
News Center 7’s Malik Patterson tried to call ARC to see if the dogs that were captured had registered owners, but nobody answered.
Anyone who recognizes the dogs is asked to call 937-898-4457.
