MIAMI VALLEY — From today through Sunday, people who still need to go back to school shopping will not have to pay taxes on some things.
Ohio’s Sales Tax weekend will start on Friday, Aug.7 starting at 12 a.m. and will run through Sunday, Aug. 9, at 11: 58 p.m.

Things that are eligible include clothing items $75 or less and school supplies up to $20.
Glasses and contacts are also eligible during the tax-free holiday.
