MORAINE — A Montgomery County Walmart was closed briefly on Friday after experiencing system issues.

News Center 7 received a tip from an iWitness7 viewer late Friday morning that the systems were down at the Walmart in Moraine, causing long lines.
News Center 7 spoke to a Walmart spokesperson Friday afternoon, who said the store didn’t close, but our crew went to the store and saw shoppers being turned away.

The spokesperson said a technician was working on a separate issue that caused a brief WIFI problem that impacted how transactions could be processed.
The issue was quickly resolved.
No other local Walmart experienced the issue.
