A note on Yellow Spring Pharmacy’s door blames staffing for its closure.
Instead of fulfilled prescriptions, people were greeted by a locked door.
“I’m in a dilemma right now because I really ned this medication and I’ve been waiting three days for it,” Tim Whetsel said.

Whitsel said he has picked up his medicine at Yellow Springs Pharmacy for decades.
News Center 7 reached out to the pharmacy and emailed them, but did not get a response.
We also reached out to the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, which said a licensed pharmacist resigned there last month.
The pharmacy has until Jan. 9 to name a new pharmacist.
People like Whetsel still need to pick up their medication.
“I don’t know what to do. It would be nice to know what’s going on. Because right now, I’m thinking of going somewhere else. And I like being able to do business right here in town,” Whetsel said.
The note on the door of the pharmacy said it would be open on Jan. 8.
