DAYTON — Firefighters extinguished a fire at a house in Dayton Sunday afternoon.

The fire was reported at a house near E Parkwood Drive and Newport Avenue after 1 p.m., a Montgomery County dispatch supervisor confirmed.

Upon arrival, crews found heavy fire coming from the two-story home, according to a social media post by Dayton Police & Fire.
