DAYTON — A county-wide call for help was issued in Montgomery County on Friday night.

A MetroParks officer was in the area of Stanley Avenue and Leo Street with a disabled vehicle at approximately 11:07 p.m., a Montgomery County dispatch supervisor confirmed.

A Signal 99, or a county-wide call for help, was issued for this location moments later.
The supervisor confirmed that the Signal 99 has since been canceled.
Emergency Scanner Traffic indicates that the call was canceled just a few minutes after it was issued.
Information on why the Signal 99 was issued was not immediately available.
