ENGLEWOOD — A driver claims he passed out before crashing through an Arby’s restaurant in Montgomery County on Tuesday night, according to an Englewood police crash report.

As previously reported, the crash was reported in the 700 block of S. Main Street around 10:40 p.m.

A preliminary investigation found that a 29-year-old man was driving south on Main Street, near Woodside Drive, when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the left side of the road.
The car hit the north side of the building and exited on the south side.
It came to a rest in the parking lot.
The driver told officers that he passed out and went off the road, according to the report.
News Center 7 crews went to the scene and saw that part of the restaurant was boarded up.
They also saw debris scattered throughout the parking lot.
The driver was hospitalized with suspected minor injuries and cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control, according to the report.
