UPDATE: State troopers, deputies respond to several crashes on I-70 in Clark Co. Thursday morning

CLARK COUNTY — UPDATE @ 11 a.m.:

Currently, the only crash that remains impactful for drivers is on Interstate 70 East near State Route 4. Crews still have the right lane blocked, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

State troopers and deputies responded to several crashes on Interstate 70 in Clark County on Thursday.

As reported on News Center 7 Daybreak, the snowy conditions caused travel issues for drivers across the region.

State troopers from the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) were dispatched just after 4:30 a.m. to I-70 eastbound at the Clark/Madison County line, according to an OSHP dispatcher.

Four semis were involved in that crash.

The left lanes were closed after a crash on I-70 westbound near State Route 4.

There is also a crash on I-70 eastbound between State Route 235 and I-675. The left lane is closed.
