A preliminary investigation found that a 68-year-old Jennifer Watson, of Lebanon, was driving a Nissan Rogue south on S. High Street when she didn’t stop for the stop sign at the intersection and hit a trailer being hauled by a semi.
Watson was initially taken to Atrium Medical Center with serious life-threatening injuries before being flown to Miami Valley Hospital.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed on Thursday that she died from her injuries on July 30.
The driver of the semi, a 36-year-old South Carolina man, was not injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
