MIAMI VALLEY — Many people are starting their St. Patrick’s Day celebrations early on Tuesday morning.
Overnight, below temperatures have created slick, icy spots on roads in parts of the Miami Valley.

As reported on News Center 7’s Daybreak, roads in the Miami Valley are slick and icy, and some even still have snow on them.

Those who plan to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day are recommended to be cautious of icy conditions on the road.
Drivers who plan to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early are encouraged to have a sober driver with them or call a ride share to prevent intoxicated driving.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said they plan to increase troopers and will be out on the streets looking for intoxicated drivers.
