The Co-Owners, Danny Henry and Phil Thomas, said they were glad to open their first location in the Dayton area.
“We felt like the brand was great, and it’s something that we wanted to bring to the Dayton community,” Henry said.
It was personal for Thomas to open the small business in Fairborn, his way of giving back to a community that’s given him so much.
“I’m a 1987 graduate of Fairborn High School, and we just, I really wanted to bring something back to my hometown. So this is, this is so super exciting for us,” Thomas said.
It’s extra special for the two of them to open the shop together because Henry is Thomas’ son-in-law.
“The best thing about it is we know we can rely on each other. We’re not going into business with somebody that we have known for years, we’re going into business with family,” Thomas said.
The shop offers a variety of different smoothies and juices squeezed fresh. You can also grab a quick bite to eat too.
“You have the healthy option, from the wraps if you’re hungry to the smoothies if you’re just looking for that cool, refreshing, quick grab and go option as well,” Henry said.
While they are excited about getting started, they also hope to do more than just serve up smoothies.
“We want the opportunity to give back and and be present, like said, hopefully it’s first of many in the Dayton market,” Henry said.
They are already looking to make sure this first Pulp isn’t the only on in the Dayton area.
